Andrew Knight from New Canaan has always been passionate about baseball. He enjoys playing the game, was a member of the varsity team and has even been a coach for the little league baseball team. The Yankees is his favorite team and he never skips updating himself on the related statistics. Other than baseball, Andrew enjoys playing golf, fishing, and traveling to new places.
Currently pursuing a major in business and economics with a minor in Italian as a sophomore at the Skidmore College, Andrew Knight has graduated high school from the New Canaan High School. He is a catcher for the Skidmore Thoroughbreds varsity baseball team. His family consists of his mother, father, and a younger brother. His mother Shawnee Knight is a passionate chef who is classically trained at the French Culinary Institute, NYC and has also served a number of boards and committees in the area of New Canaan, CT. His father Douglas Knight, on the other hand, tops the list of most multi-faceted agency owners in New Canaan, CT.
Talking about Andrew Knight’s contribution towards the society, he has actively volunteered for a nonprofit organization called Filling in the Blanks, which was co-founded by his mother Shawnee Knight in New Canaan, CT in the year 2013. Filling in the Blanks provides weekend meals to children in need who are eligible for the free or reduced lunch program. This program is available throughout the year, including the summer months. For just $5.25 a weekend, each child is provided with a bag of non-perishable, easy to prepare food items and a fresh piece of fruit.
Andrew has been volunteering for noble causes since a very young age and wants to continue doing so. Whenever he can spare some time from his busy schedule, he prefers watching professional sports with his father.
